SYNOPSIS
After a failed assassination attempt during a mission in North Africa,[2] US Marine Mike Stevens (Armie Hammer) finds himself trapped on a land mine. If he moves, the mine will explode. Exposed to the desert elements, he must survive the dangers of the desert and battle the psychological and physical toll of the treacherous conditions, remaining motionless for two days waiting for help.
Stevens is on the mine the entire film, and steps off the mine, only for it not to explode. He finds out that it was just a tin can with a soldier in it for the entire film. The film ends with Stevens being rescued and going back to Jenny.
